Guy "Guido" Fawkes died 405 years ago earlier this year, executed by the power structure that repressed Catholics in England under the Protestant King James.
His gunpowder plot failed and he was tortured in the Tower of London where he was most likely subjected to the grotesque "Iron Maiden" and several other heinous devices during his "interrogation".
Now in 2011 his face in mask form is synonymous with the anonymous protesters at
O-W-S and OCCUPY throughout the US.
I wonder how many of these MASK WEARERS actually know who this chap was?
Today marks the official Guy Fawkes day in England and in London today protesters marched to the London Stock Exchange.
Guy "Guido" Fawkes would most likely be very interested in these latest developments and most surely might have been marching were he alive today!
